El Salvador’s strong, stable economy has now changed to the U.S. Dollar as its Country’s currency.  Make sure the U.S. paper currency you bring is in good condition, as businesses do not like to accept old, damaged or torn money.  Visa and MasterCard are widely accepted throughout the Country.  When cashing Travelers Checks at local banks, be sure to have your passport and original travelers checks receipts with you (leave copies at home).  When making reservations through this website, we can accept, your Check, Cashier’s Check or Money Order, Visa or MasterCard.  Once you have arrived at the Rancho, additional services may be paid for either in U.S. Dollars or Travelers Checks.
